Job 28-37
Today I read the last ten chapters in the book of Job in the Old Testament. There are five chapters left in the book of Job for Tomorrow's reading in the Old Testament. In the chapters that I read today, were different then they had been the past two days that I have been reading the book of Job. Job continues to win arguments against his friends that couldn't find a way to refute him as this went on for many chapters. The youngest of Job's friends that have come and gathered around him goes by the name of Elihu. He gets angry at Job's others friends who are all men of many years like Job is himself. He is the one to refute Job at what he has been saying in the past chapters. Elihu tries to get Job to understand and listen to what is words are saying directly to him to that he might have understanding in the Lord God Almighty's plans for him and his household. I have learned that you must have an open mind when it comes to thinking because to come to full understanding on one something you must first understand where it came from and what it has become over the years. I should listen when others speak for they might be speaking words of wisdom from God for you to here for you have strand from his path.
"Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He unleashes his lighting beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back. God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding." Job 37: 2-5 NIV
