Psalms 66-75
Today, I read in Psalms once again. Over the course of my reading I discovered another author of Psalms, his name was King Solomon. I also discovered that their were some Psalms that were not marked by any authors name for they are just marked "a psalm". This confused me more than anything else did when I was reading today. So far I have discovered four authors of Psalms and some Psalms that are without authorship. The names of the authors that have been discovered are King David, Sons of Korah, Asaph and King Solomon. I have learned from today's reading that God is my deliverer and he will not rest till the wicked are punished and the righteous are set free. I feel out of place sometimes even through I know that he walks with us when we are on the path towards him. God has helped me feel comfortable in my own skin when I felt like an outsider in life among my peers which have led me to feel that he is truly with me when I pray, worship or read by Bible. I can feel him speaking to me sometimes through Scripture when I feel that I need to look up some verse or another that happened when when two books with the same verses in it. This verse was Psalms 139: 7-10, it has become one of my favorite verses that God has shown me through reading.
"Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay." Psalms 70: 5 NIV
