Day 2

Nehemiah 1-10

Today I read 10 out of 13 chapters in the book of Nehemiah from the Old Testament. Tomorrow I will finish reading Nehemiah and begin reading the book of Esther. This book is about Nehemiah and how he rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem with his fellow kinsmen. He became Governor and faces apposition from Others that believed that he was rebelling against King Artaxerxes but also they were men that would do harm to him and his kinsmen. I have learned that you can lean of God for understanding whether it be in times of trouble, pain or happiness in your life for he will always be by you side to protect you from harm that others might inflict on your person and provide what you need during these times.

"So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations, were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God." Nehemiah 6: 15-16 NIV
