Ecclesiastes 5-12
Today, I finished up reading the book of Ecclesiastes. The whole book of Ecclesiastes was written by King Solomon. These last eight chapters of Ecclesiastes are about wisdom, how everything is meaningless, destiny and to obey one's king.
"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgement. including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14 NIV
Song of Songs 1-2
Today, I started Song of Songs or Song of Solomon. King Solomon is the author of this book. The first two chapters are about the beloved, the lover and friends.
"How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes are doves." Song of Songs 1:15 NIV
