Day 22

Psalms 136-145

Today, I read in Psalms. I will soon finish Psalms and move onto Proverbs. The memory verse that was chosen is one of my favorite verses in all of the Old Testament. The authors of these ten chapters were King David and an unnamed author of Psalms. In these ten chapters there is praises to God, a knowing that he will always look over us and he will protect us from our enemies.

"Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." Psalms 139: 7-10 NIV
